Currently Obsessing Over...

Well it certainly been a while to say the least.... i know, that's a huge understatement... but I'm back (whoohoo) with a post of my current favorites. so without further ado...

• My Sam Edelman Zoe boots. I got these babies last year for christmas and of course it was love at first sight, but it was really the last month or so that i've really put these to use. I am also aware that these have quite a cult following.

• Love Will Take You- Angus & Julia Stone... this song has been on repeat. love it.
• Interior Design... I have been completely consumed with re-decorating my room.. i might need to re-access what i should be doing with my life haha
• Reading... lol truly one of life's simplest pleasures. I have the LONGEST list of books that need to purchased. I could probably do 20 posts on books alone.
• Coconut macaroons. nuff said.
• The 1954 version of Sabrina with Audrey Hepburn.

Yea

So it's 3 am and finals week here at school but i felt like doing a blog post so i am. Ughh, if any of you are in college i send positivity your way for this week! it is so hard... i have such bad anxiety and i think that caffeine just intensifies it. Anyway, here I am with an update.

Oh and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I go home in a couple of days and I am too excited, because if I learned anything this past semester it is how important family is.....

I have been sooooo obsessed with JoJo's new mixtape! And the best part about is it's FREE! it's so good i would pay for it. i love " just a dream" and "boy without a heart" they are my favourites.

I went shopping on Madison Ave. and nearly died..... not literally! I was just so excited! i become way too enthralled by NYC sometimes. i am just obsessed. I'm living my dream and just try not to forget how blessed i am.

Also, I was thinking of doing a personal jewelery blog.... because i have purchased quite a bit since i have been in school. if your interested in seeing that let me know please.

Hello People!

Hello everyone.... I thought i should just update everyone on what's been happening in my life. Well, let's see. I am in college now so I haven't had the time to really post like I want to. sorry. i really want to revamp this blog and make it a bit more personal, maybe make it more of a lifestyle blog?!? let me know what you think. So lately i have been so much of a MAKEUPHOLIC! Honestly i am obsessed and i have been so into every beauty product you could think of! I go to school in NYC and i love this city with such a passion. it never ceases to amaze me. I have been shopping so much and guess what? now i am broke! smh.

Sorry that this doesn't coincide with what i usually post..... sorry that i don't post consistently. And finally thank you to everyone of the fourteen people who actually support this blog. it doesn't go unnoticed, because I am truly grateful! love you guys.

Right now I am feeling really inspired and have been contemplating what kind of legacy I want to leave on this Earth. I know, I know.... this is getting kind of deep, but I just have to say this. I really want to affect change, inspire someone, or just feel satisfied that I have been a decent person. I just want to say that there is an endless amount of things that we are able to do sooo never limit yourself. Reach For The Sky!!!!! Always trust your heart and don't give in. I hope someone accepts this as genuinely as I am writing this. Now are photos of people who have done renowned things, followed their hearts, and not afraid to live their dreams. These are just people who I admire...

Others on my list are Alice Paul, Martin Luther King Jr., Senator John Lewis, Susan B. Anthony, Taylor Swift, Gandhi, Angelina Jolie, Stefani Germanotta (Lady Gaga), and countless more. Tell me WHO INSPIRES YOU?

Fashion In Film

Ever just watch movies for the clothing? the plot of the movie could be completely dense or not, but your favorite thing about it is what the character's are wearing... here are a few of the movies where i think the clothing shines above the rest.

Haters

This is just something I have to get off of my chest. Negativity, in my opinion, is one of the biggest pitfalls of mankind. We spend so much time bringing others down, and it blows my mind how many vessels we have to do it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but why not just be cordial and congratulate. For example, last sunday Taylor Swift won a highly renowned and honorable award (Album Of The Year) but instead of accolades she is met with a sea of rudeness from haters. if you don't think she should of won get mad at the 3 MILLION people who bought her album. maybe i'm just the last of a dying breed but being constantly critical of others is annoying to me. it has nothing to do with being filtered or censored and you're allowed to express how you feel, but i was raised on "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all."

I promise to stick to fashion posts from now on, but I kind of view this blog as a diary and this was one entry I had to script.
